General information on the degrees of hardness mentioned: The hardness of the flooring is measured according to Shore. This method is generally used for elastomers. It measures how far a metal pin penetrates the material under a certain load. The further the needle penetrates, the softer the material. The higher the degree of hardness in °, the harder the rubber is. Soft rubbers have a degree of hardness of approx. 37.5 - 45°. The hardest surfaces currently available are around 55°.
